The next time you go for a walk, or even for a disk, make sure the first aid kit includes a bottle of tea tree oil. This small wonder from Down Under can make a small bite out of the misfortunes of summer insects.

The wasps are actually one of the wonders of God. These little creatures are amazing! They produce, as ants and bees, a substance called formic acid is injected into you and I, when the wasp or bee is threatened or invaded their territory.

Sometimes other substances that react with our immune system and trigger an allergic reaction in some cases can be fatal. This reaction can come on quickly and violence. An allergic person should carry their wasp and bee kit with them. It is important to note that some people who have never had a sudden reaction before have similar symptoms. Sometimes these reactions occur rapidly, from ten to thirty minutes or less. Things such as difficulty breathing, fast heartbeat, sweating, inflammation of the throat or eyes, and perhaps a sense of vertigo. If any of these or other symptoms, consult a doctor immediately!

In our house, and our first aid kits at home and the car, keep a bottle of tea tree oil, Benadryl, and vitamin C. For us, when we get to the stings of wasps and bees, we take the age and weight appropriate dose of Benadryl, 1000 mg vitamin C, and apply tea tree oil to bites 3 or 4 times per hour until the pain disappeared.

Mosquito bites?

Again, make sure you are getting the best tree oil tea available.
