Is there a food or a DIY facial mask to soothe skin and reduce redness?

Do you have access to cucumbers? Take a cucumber, all mature. Place in a blender with 1 / 2 cup whole milk 1 / 2 cup of sourcream. (Real stuff, not fat free). Stir until thickened.
