New York City is a city that loves sports and cheering for the home team. New York is probably the best represented city and state in this country when it comes Major League teams. I really never saw it, but I honestly can not imagine a night where there was not some sort of major sporting event taking place in any part of this big city.
The National Hockey League that almost was not back and going strong. New York is well represented by the Ranger, who agreed this wonderful year to attract outside the Red Wings Shanahan. They play their home games at Madison Square Garden and has some of the most faithful followers. Even if I say Detroit and visit, and if the Rangers play the house then this is the perfect opportunity (assuming you can get a ticket) to get out and see how Shanahan is adapting to life in the Big Apple and it fails to return to Joe's life.
Put hockey aside for the moment, there are many other professional sports you can do while you are visiting New York. I think there are some baseball fans in this town somewhere. I say something, because it seems they had to create two baseball teams to contain the fans. I to say that these fans are loyal to a fault with equipment support. The New York Mets and Yankees is that the big city teams in the majors and both are supported of all their faithful fans.
The most surprising thing to me is that the double team is not finished with baseball. It appears that the City of New York also has two teams in the National Football League. New York Giants New York Jets and represent both the city just for football fans across the country. Although I have no favorites or even preference for these teams and have really no idea how a city can survive with such heated Division. Obviously they are not as rabid as some hockey fans tend to be or what would be a civil war within the streets.
Joking aside, it seems that so far only one team NBA and are the New York Knicks. I do not how unfair it is so difficult to play hockey and basketball, because the guys really should get the better of the bargain of whole town basis for them, not just half. With so many major sporting possibilities, it is surprising that men in this city get anything accomplished without achieving a portable hand with them at all times.
I do not know about your house, but in my house, it is very difficult to schedule important events in our family life around a team local for each sport (and not even have a baseball team). I can not imagine how New York women do. But all that women and men love you, I say congratulations to support your team and give your visitors many of these excellent opportunities to see our sport when you're away from home too. It is difficult to identify one thing about this city that is bigger, but coming May of any kind.
